Walter H. Belcher, Kappa, 1896, was a confectioner and civic leader. He was President of The Walter M. Lowery Company in Boston and Mansfield, Massachusetts and served as President of the New England and National Confectioners Associations. In 1924, he testified for the National Confectioners Association before the House Ways and Means Committee.
Brother Belcher was a resident of Medford, Massachusetts his entire life and served on
the Board of Trustees of Tufts University and as Vice President of the Medford
Historical Society. Brother Belcher was also a member of the Boston Commandary of the Knights Templar.
