John E. Woodbridge
John E. Woodbridge, Psi Epsilon, 1924, Phi Alpha 1957-1958
John E. Woodbridge, Psi Epsilon, 1924, was a banker and community leader. Shortly after graduation, Brother Woodbridge joined Irving Trust Company in New York. He retired 40 years later as an assistant vice president.
Brother Woodbridge was very active in the community and church affairs as President
of the Larchmont Mamaroneck Chapter of the United Nations Association and chairman
of the Finance Committee of the White Plains Unitarian Community Church. He was
the trustee of several libraries.
Brother Woodbridge served as Gamma Alpha from 1949 through 1957. During his
tenure as Phi Alpha, Zeta Psi chartered the Omicron chapter at Nebraska Wesleyan
