J. Ingham Kinsey

J. Ingraham Kinsey, Jr., Tau,  1902, Phi Alpha 1935-1936

J. Ingraham Kinsey, Jr., Tau,  1902, was a prominent attorney and civic leader in Easton, Pennsylvania. He was a Classics major at Lafayette College.

Brother Kinsey was admitted to the bar in 1905 and practiced law for more than thirty
years in Northampton County. He was a director of the Northampton Portland Cement
Company, an officer of the Northampton County Historical Society, a member of the
Huguenot Society of America, the Colonial Society of Pennsylvania and secretary and
treasurer of the Northampton Country Club. In the early 1930s, he was a major
contributor to capital improvements at the Easton Public Library.

Born in December 1882, Brother Kinsey died in September 1936, three months after
completing his term as Phi Alpha.
