Zeta Psi Fraternity and Educational Foundation Joint CEO Search Announcement

As announced in the March 2024 Zeta Psi Inner Circle Newsletter and at the 2024 Convention in New Orleans, Lauck Walton, Executive Director of the Zeta Psi Educational Foundation and past Phi Alpha, will retire in the summer of 2025.

To lead the search for Zeta Psi’s next leader, a search committee has been assembled, composed of members of the Fraternity Executive Committee and the Educational Foundation Board of Trustees. The committee is chaired by David Morris (Phi Epsilon ‘82) and includes Ron Cass (Nu ‘84), Maurice Ducoing (Psi ‘03), Robert Edgmon (Iota Alpha ‘88), Alex Pruce (Psi ‘13), John Spohn (Pi ‘81), Dylan Thomas (Sigma Zeta ‘04), and Will Woldenberg (Beta Tau ‘07). To support this important process, the committee has retained Lumen Leadership Strategies.

In consideration of the succession plan that best serves the future priorities of Zeta Psi, the two boards have decided to employ a chief executive officer who will lead both fraternity and foundation efforts in an organized and cooperative manner. It is expected that the role of Fraternity’s Executive Director will report to the CEO.

A job description for the CEO has been developed, and applications are now open, with priority consideration given to those received by February 28, 2025. Interested candidates are encouraged to review the qualifications and submit their materials via this application portal.

Zeta Psi is deeply grateful for Lauck’s nearly ten years of leadership—first as Executive Director of the Fraternity, and more recently as Executive Director of the Educational Foundation. A Pi Chapter brother from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Lauck has been actively involved with Zeta Psi throughout his life, making a lasting impact on the organization. Thanks to his dedication, Zeta Psi is in a stronger position today.

We look forward to celebrating Lauck’s contributions as he transitions out of his role later this summer. He will continue in a consultative capacity to support a smooth transition of roles and duties. Read more about Lauck’s Zeta Psi story, and his impact on our Fraternity.
