New staff for the New Year
We welcome 4 new staff members to the IHQ team to bolster our current team in preparation for the 175th anniversary year.
Ian Dickson (Kappa Delta ‘21)
Hi, my name is Ian Dickson. I recently graduated from George Mason University in the spring of 2021 (Kappa Delta Chapter) with my B.S. in Marketing.
I Have lived in Northern Virginia pretty much my entire life since moving from France when I was baby. In my downtime I love to work on creative projects, and am currently a freelance motion graphics animator. When I’m not working at Zeta Psi, I am a marketing Manager for a mid-size software start-up based in the Metro-DC area doing general marketing research, animation, and social media management. Looking forward to bringing my skill sets to help improve Zeta Psi and bring it to its fullest potential!

John Nelson (Alpha Beta ‘89)
John Nelson is currently an owner and Business Director of 2 mental health companies located in Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a results-oriented leader qualified by more than 30 years of diverse fortune 500 and small business consulting experience in leading and managing strategic change, business development, business operations, financial control, strategic shared services, outsourcing, and system implementation projects across multiple industries and functions at Resource Global Professionals, IBM, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. I am an active member of the Knights of Columbus and previously served as Grand Knight of the St Columban Council. I currently coach an 8th grade boys basketball team and have coached boys and girls basketball for the past 10 years from grade school to high school and AAU.
I previously served as a trustee for the Zeta Psi Educational Foundation, the Sigma Rho Alpha for the Grand Chapter of Zeta Psi and the Chair of the Membership Education Committee. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in Political Science in 1991 and an M.B.A. from the Terry College Business at the University of Georgia 2001. I am a member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters. I have been married to my wife, Terri, for 22 years. We live in beautiful Loveland, Ohio, and have 4 children; Elizabeth (20), Jack (19), Joseph (18), and Andrew (16).
As an undergraduate at the University of Minnesota, I was a member of the reactivation class of the Alpha Beta Chapter in 1987. I served in various leadership positions including Chapter President and Vice-President.
J. Chris Hager (Sigma Nu Fraternity)
J. Chris Hager (He/Him) will be serving as the new Director of Chapter Services for the International Fraternity. He is a graduate of Ball State University with both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree and has been in the field of Fraternity and Sorority Life Advising / Higher Education for over 13 years. He is a proud member of Sigma Nu Fraternity but volunteers and supports a lot of other international organizations from facilitating leadership programs, judging awards packets to writing educational curriculum.
He is originally from Frenchburg, KY and has lived and worked in Virginia, Florida and Alabama before returning back to Indiana in 2016. He currently resides in Pendleton, IN with his significant other Lauren and their fur baby. He volunteers for Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY), specifically the Kentucky Seminar site serving as their Director of Programs and is an engaged member of a local Kiwanis Club in Indiana.
Caitlyn Westfall (Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority)
Caitlyn is joining Zeta Psi as the Director of Member Education. Caitlyn is a proud alumna of Sigma Sigma Sigma (Tri Sigma) national sorority and an engaged member of the national fraternal world. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McKendree University and her Master of Science in College Student Personnel from Western Illinois University. As an undergrad, she was a charter member of the Theta Gamma chapter of Tri Sigma. She has served professionally as a campus fraternity/sorority coordinator and most recently as the Assistant Director of Education and Training for Tri Sigma.
Caitlyn currently resides in St. Louis, MO, where she is active in the Greater St. Louis Alumnae chapter of her organization. She has served as an advisor to her collegiate chapter for almost five years as both the Honor Council and Collegiate Chapter Advisor. Caitlyn has also served many fraternal organizations and national associations, in volunteer capacities. She enjoys spending time in nature, reading and is a proud dog mom to her pup, Finn.
