Will Stafford is an attorney with the law firm of Schwartz, Page & Harding, L.L.P. in Houston, Texas. Will focuses his legal practice on public finance, local government, and administrative law with an emphasis on representing municipal utility districts and other special districts as general and bond counsel. He also represents real estate developers in the formation of special districts and in matters coming before special districts. Will brings previous experience handling corporate bond and equity offerings to his practice, as well as complex mergers and acquisitions.
Will is also the co-founder of HAW Investments, LLC, a real estate investing company located in Houston, Texas, which he owns with a fellow member of the 2003 Beta Tau pledge class. HAW is focused on the purchase and redevelopment of residential real estate in the greater Houston area, as well as the acquisition of long term investment holdings.
Will has consistently found ways to serve his community. He is the past President of the Tulane Club of Houston, was a two-time Partners Campaign Chair for the Foster Family YMCA, and is a former Young Leader with the United Way of Greater Houston. Professionally, Will is also a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, and the Houston Young Lawyers Association.
Will has stayed involved with Zeta Psi over the years. He served the Beta Tau chapter as its Beta Pi during the 2005-2006 school year, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Zeta Psi Association of Tulane, Beta Tau’s local alumni association.
Will graduated from Tulane University with a B.S. in Economics in 2005 and an M.A. in Policy Economics in 2006. He then graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School with his J.D. in 2009, along with a Certificate in Business and Public Policy from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Will is a licensed attorney and real estate sales agent in the State of Texas.
Will was born and raised in Arlington, Texas. He lives with his wife Tiffany, a neonatologist with Baylor College of Medicine, and their two children: Charlotte (3) and Tucker (7 months). On the rare occasion he is able to sneak away, you might find Will getting in a round of golf or sporting clays.
