Zeta Psi awards Colony status to Athens, Greece, students
April 27, 2021
The Executive Committee of Zeta Psi Fraternity, Inc., awarded colony students to a group of students enrolled at the American College of Greece, in Athens, Greece. Clearly another Zeta Psi first. Zeta Psi was the first fraternity founded on the west coast in 1870, the first fraternity started in Canada in 1879, and will now be operating in six countries.
The Kappa Alpha colony is the first “North-American” fraternity to operate in Southeastern Europe. The colony starts with 17 members and looks forward to growing over the coming years. The current global situation makes planning for a chartering somewhat fluid, so we are not announcing a target date for the chartering at this time.
Zeta Psi continues to be interested in starting or restarting chapters. Students that are interested in starting a Zeta Psi chapter anywhere in North America, Europe, or elsewhere are asked to complete this form.
