Iota Omicron 10th Anniversary Dinner

Zeta Psi’s UK Oxford Elders invite you to come and commemorate the moment, ten years ago, that Zeta Psi became the world’s first ever inter-continental fraternity. Open to actives, elders, and significant others of all chapters, this commemoration dinner will not only mark a momentous occasion; it’ll also be bloody good fun.
Ticketing Information:
Tickets are £75 and will include a champagne reception, four course meal in private dining room with wine and port included, and a private cash bar (open until late) for afterwards.

- To sponsor an active: “Chip In” £75 per sponsorship. Please specify the name and chapter of the active if this is a specific sponsorship.

Additional events:
In addition to the dinner on the 28th of April, Zeta Psi will be setting up additional events for those interested. During the day on Friday 27th, there will be a guided tour of Oxford led by the IO actives. This will depart Paddington Station at 09:30 and return NLT 17:30. Contact Joe if interested.
There will also be an informal pub gathering on the evening of Friday the 27th. We will depart from the Cavalry and Guards club at 19:00 and enjoy a few of the historic pubs nearby. If there is enough interest, we will reserve a space for dinner and drinks. Contact Will if interested.
Venue:
The Cavalry and Guards Club is one of London’s most prestigious private members’ clubs and is not usually open to non-members. To join you must have served as an Officer in a select number of prestigious fighting regiments of the British Army. By attending this dinner you’ll therefore be going somewhere you ordinarily would not be able to – and will be surrounded by deeply historic and beautifully plush architecture and decor.
Accommodation:
The club has kindly agreed that attendees of the dinner will be considered as Reciprocal Club Members and therefore have the opportunity to stay in some of the club’s very well appointed rooms. Rates are in the table below, include breakfast, papers and wifi in the heart of Mayfair. There is limited availability for rooms for please contact Will asap if you’d like to reserve one for the Saturday or Friday/Saturday nights.
Please note that if you are staying at the club, it is a traditional place. As such there is a dress code at all times. It is ‘relaxed’ from 6pm on Friday – which means you must wear a minimum of smart trousers and a collared shirt (no short sleeves), and smart shoes, at all times in public rooms. No denim or trainers. Phone are not permitted in any public rooms except the Balaclava room. Dress code outside of weekends in Jacket and Tie. Conduct should be civil and courteous at all times.
Directions:
The nearest underground stations are Hyde Park Corner (Piccadilly line) or Green Park (Jubilee and Victoria lines). There is no parking available, but the club is easily accessible by taxi or Uber.
